Handcrafted and bespoke shepherd huts for sale in Cumbria
As our name suggests, we are based ‘up North”, in Staveley, near Kendal, the gateway to England's Lake District. CSH as we call it was formed by local businessman Simon Reynolds and Ward Fallowfield of Fallowfield Projects, a well known local joinery and fabrication company. Our philosophy is simple: provide a quality product at a competitive price, using wherever possible locally sourced materials so that what you get is as Cumbrian as we can make it!
We are a relatively new company, but our partner company, Fallowfield Projects Ltd has been in the timber fabrication business for over 20 years. With experienced craftsmen, state of the art equipment and construction techniques, we are happy to guarantee our Shepherd Huts will give you years of pleasure and enjoyment.
"I guess we are novices to the whole idea, we but have been fortunate being able to deal with a local company. I doubt if we would have gone with the idea at all had it meant looking much further afield. The other decider was the fact that Ward was so positive and confident from the start re giving us something bespoke to do the job. Being able to chat to Chris once things were moving was also important."

"I just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our shepherds hut and the service we received from your company. The whole team put in an Herculean effort to site the hut and we've had tremendous use out of it already. The quality of craftsmanship is truly outstanding and I know it will see many years of use. My only challenge is prizing my wife out of it and dissuading my in-laws from moving in! 'I wholeheartedly recommend Cumbrian Shepherds Huts - they and their products really are the complete package."

Why not stay overnight or weekend in one of our huts? As to be seen on Channel 4’s “A Very British Farm”, in Autumn 2017, we delivered a “glamping” hut to High Borrans Farm on the fells above Windermere. Photos of the hut, which has been christened “Percy Warrener” are on the web site, alternatively, go to www.lakedistrictlodgeholidays.co.uk
